The gift voucher and gift card industry is worth £3bn in the UK.  Forecast to be the biggest sector in the UK prepaid industry by 2010 gift vouchers and gift cards offer increased revenue opportunities for both traditional and non-traditional retailers.

 

The VA Conference brought together the key players in the market on one day. Showcasing current opportunities as well as forecasting the scope of future, sustainable strategies; the conference and associated exhibition was a must attend event for anyone in gift card, gift vouchers, stored value or prepaid cards.

 

The range of speakers included Tim Danaher, Editor, Retail Week, Marilyn Bochicchio, President of Paybefore plus representatives from John Lewis, House of Fraser, lastminute.com, Asda Business Rewards, Sainsbury’s, Starbucks, PizzaExpress, Ticketmaster, PPT, ReD and many others.

 

As well as the conference a mini-exhibition was featured alongside the conference and the day was rounded off with a networking Cafe Jazz supper, giving plenty of time to meet industry colleagues.
